LOCATION - Victoria, Chelsea, Hammersmith, Westminster, Camden Town, London, London City.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of London`s leading charity organisations, they have 25 + retail stores all across London and are looking for talented Assistant Managers to join their charity to put there retail expertise, customer service and eye for detail to work.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Assistant Managers - Victoria, Chelsea, Hammersmith, Westminster, Camden Town, London, London City

  • To be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of customer care
  • To assist in training paid staff and volunteers
  • To be aware of, and adhere to, all company policies and procedures
  • To be aware of the financial procedures including the operation of the cash register, cashing up and reconciling the day’s takings at the end of each day in accordance with the company’s cash handling procedures and, in the absence of the shop manager, for ensuring they are adhered to
  • In the absence of the shop manager to ensure that the takings are banked each day
  • In the absence of the shop manager to ensure the prompt completion of weekly returns
  • To work closely with the shop manager to encourage growth in the shop’s turnover by encouraging local awareness of the need for quality donations

You will currently be a Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager in the fashion industry.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE


Assistant Managers main responsibilities -

  • To meet agreed sales and profit targets
  • To be proactive in generating donations from the public
  • To be proactive in generating Gift Aid conversions from people donating goods
  • To sell goods profitably in accordance with agreed price structures after selection and valuation and within agreed time scales
  • To maintain a high standard of display, presentation and cleanliness throughout the shop
  • To assist in the supervision and motivation of suitable volunteers to ensure the running of the shop according to the company’s guidelines
