Visual Merchandising is vital for stores, as it can help to drive sales. The post holder will manage a wider team of Visual Merchandisers and must will be able to show creative talent and flair, as they are responsible for the style and look of the store. It is important for the Visual Merchandising Manager to maintain communications with the merchandising and buying teams, including the Creative Director, in order to ensure the displays in store match the company’s overall image.

Experience Requirements

  • Employers will seek out candidates with past experience in a Visual Merchandising role, who has gained a good knowledge of the working environment and can display a creative flair and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Degrees are not usually required, although some Diplomas are available that could support applications. Generally, work placements are also a good way to demonstrate ability.
